Teaching the AI & Auto-Approve Rules
Correct a one-off analysis, save standing instructions per sender, and put trusted senders on full autopilot.
One-time directions vs. teachings
On any email, expand "Not what you expected? Give a direction or teach the AI". Type what you want (e.g. "Attach this to FKPO1061") and choose:
• Only this email — a one-time direction; re-analyzes this email and is not remembered.
• Teach for all future emails from {sender domain} — saves a standing instruction that guides every future email from that sender.
Click Re-analyze with direction or Save teaching & re-analyze. Re-analyzing with empty text just re-runs the latest logic.
Contradiction handling
If a new teaching overlaps an existing one, Ventorie shows both and a suggested merged version. Choose Replace with merged, Keep both, or Don't save. This keeps your instruction set consistent instead of accumulating conflicting rules.
Managing instructions
All saved instructions appear as chips on the Inbox header (click to edit, × to remove) and under Settings → Automation → Email handling instructions, where you can also add one directly with an optional sender domain (blank = applies to all email).
Auto-approve rules
After you approve an email, the card offers a one-click rule: "Always auto-approve {type} emails from {domain}". Once saved, matching emails apply automatically — but only when the proposal is clean: no warnings and high confidence. Anything questionable still waits for you.
Freight quote rules carry extra guardrails: auto-approve only at or below a cost cap (default $500) and only if pickup is by the next business day.
Reviewing and removing rules
Active rules show as chips on the Inbox header and under Settings → Automation → Auto-approve rules. Remove a rule any time to return that sender to manual review.
