AR Invoices & Statements
Invoice wholesale customers from sales orders, record payments, generate statements, and push it all to QuickBooks.
What you'll need
A customer record and a confirmed sales order. (DTC channel orders settle through payouts and don't use AR invoices.)
Creating and sending an invoice
1. On Sales → AR Invoices, create an invoice from a confirmed sales order.
2. Use the PDF/preview actions to review, download, or copy a shareable link for the customer.
3. Terms and due dates follow the customer's settings (type, terms, credit limit live on the Customers page).
Recording payments
Record payments against the invoice as they arrive — partial payments reduce the balance, and overpayments become customer credits you can apply later. Payment emails that arrive in the AI Inbox (type: Invoice payment) propose the payment record for you; short payments trigger the discrepancy follow-up flow.
Pushing to QuickBooks
With QBO connected and AR accounts mapped (see "Connecting QuickBooks Online"):
1. Click Push to QBO on the invoice — it posts with the correct currency and exchange rate.
2. Then click Record in QBO on each payment — it posts to the deposit account matching the invoice's currency.
Synced items show a QBO chip with the QuickBooks document number. Push the invoice before its payments.
Statements of account
Generate a customer statement (with preview) from the AR Invoices page — every open invoice and payment on one document for the customer's AP team.
