Connecting ShipBob
Pull real-time fulfillment center inventory from ShipBob and match it to your Ventorie product catalog.
Requirements
You need a ShipBob merchant account and a Personal Access Token (PAT). Create a PAT in ShipBob Merchant Portal → Settings → API & Integrations → Personal Access Tokens. Give it a descriptive name like 'Ventorie' so you can identify it later.
Connecting
Go to Integrations → Add integration → ShipBob. Paste your Personal Access Token and click 'Connect ShipBob'. Ventorie will verify the token by calling the ShipBob API. If successful, the connector is created and you'll see it in your integrations list.
Selecting fulfillment centers
After connecting, click 'Manage' on the ShipBob connector card to open the Fulfillment Centers panel. Select the warehouses you want to track inventory for. Only selected FCs will have inventory positions in Ventorie — you can add or remove them at any time and re-sync.
SKU matching
When inventory syncs, Ventorie matches each ShipBob inventory item to a product in your catalog by SKU. If a match is found, the item is marked 'Auto-matched'. Items that can't be matched automatically are flagged as 'Needs review'.
Click 'Review SKU matches' on the connector card to open the SKU reconciliation panel. Here you can:
• Confirm auto-matched items
• Manually link unmatched items by searching your product catalog
• Bulk-confirm all auto-matched items using the checkbox select + Confirm button
Digital products (ebooks, subscriptions) are automatically excluded from inventory tracking.
Inventory sync
Each sync pulls the latest fulfillable quantities per SKU per fulfillment center from ShipBob's API and updates the corresponding InventoryPosition records in Ventorie. The difference between the current position and the new ShipBob quantity is applied as an adjustment event, preserving a full audit trail.
