Sales Orders
Orders sync from Shopify and Amazon automatically; add wholesale orders manually and route fulfillment by rules.
Order sync
Sales orders pull from Shopify and Amazon on every sync with an incremental cursor — no duplicates, no gaps. Channel statuses normalize to a shared set (Open, Fulfilled, Cancelled, Refunded) so reporting is consistent across channels. Manual (wholesale/B2B) orders are created on the Sales Orders page and can carry customer terms.
On hold
An order placed on hold shows a banner and pauses fulfillment-facing logic; the "Order placed on hold" notification type alerts you when it happens.
Line items and SKU linking
Order lines link to products via the channel-SKU mapping. Unreviewed SKUs still import — the line connects to the product once the mapping is confirmed.
Per-order costs
Cost popovers on order lines show COGS from FIFO cost layers (lot costs when tracked), with warnings when a lot cost is missing. These are the same numbers behind the monthly COGS journal entries.
Fulfillment routing
Settings → Fulfillment holds priority-ordered, first-match rules: criteria like shipping country/state or channel map to a warehouse or 3PL network, with fallback strategies (nearest with stock, any, split, hold). The "Unrouted only" filter on Sales Orders surfaces anything no rule caught.
Invoicing wholesale orders
Confirmed manual orders can be invoiced — see "AR Invoices & Statements".
