Replenishment Planning
Ventorie analyzes your sales velocity, lead times, and current inventory to tell you exactly what to reorder and when.
How replenishment works
Ventorie calculates a reorder recommendation for each SKU by comparing the current available inventory against a projected depletion date based on recent sales velocity. The calculation factors in your vendor's lead time so the suggested order arrives before you stock out.
Reorder points
A reorder point is the inventory level that triggers a replenishment suggestion. Ventorie calculates reorder points automatically using:
• Average daily sales (trailing 30 days)
• Vendor lead time (from the vendor record)
• A safety stock buffer (configurable per product)
You can override the calculated reorder point with a manual value on any product.
Creating POs from suggestions
The Replenishment page lists all SKUs flagged for reorder. Select one or more and click 'Create PO' to generate a draft purchase order pre-populated with the suggested quantities. You can adjust quantities before sending.
Lead times
Lead times are managed under Planning → Lead Times. You can set default lead times per vendor and per product. Product-level lead times override vendor defaults. Accurate lead times are the single most important input for replenishment accuracy.
